The Journal of Gateway to Sustainable Research is committed to the principles of Open Access publishing. We believe that high-quality scientific research and sustainable development knowledge should be freely accessible to researchers, policymakers, industry professionals, and the public worldwide to promote global knowledge exchange and innovation.
All articles published in this journal are fully and immediately Open Access. Upon publication, articles are made freely available online without subscription fees or paywall restrictions.
2. Copyright and Licensing
A. Copyright
Authors retain the copyright of their work. By submitting and publishing with the journal, authors grant the journal the right to publish and disseminate the article while maintaining full ownership of their intellectual property.
B. Licensing
All published articles are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License.
Under the CC BY license, users are permitted to:
- Share — Copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format.
- Adapt — Remix, transform, and build upon the material for any purpose, including commercial use.
Proper attribution to the original author(s) and source must always be provided.
3. Author Rights and Self-Archiving (Green Open Access)
Authors are permitted and encouraged to archive and share all versions of their manuscript without embargo.
- Pre-print — The original manuscript before peer review.
- Author’s Accepted Manuscript (AAM) — The revised version after peer review but before copyediting and typesetting.
- Version of Record (VoR) — The final published PDF version from the journal.
Authors may deposit these versions on:
- Personal websites
- Institutional repositories
- Subject-specific repositories
In all cases, a complete bibliographic citation and a link to the article on the journal’s official website must be provided.
4. Article Processing Charges (APCs)
The Journal of Gateway to Sustainable Research follows the Gold Open Access Model. To cover publication costs, an Article Processing Charge (APC) of ₹1000 per accepted manuscript is applicable.
- The APC is payable only after acceptance of the manuscript.
- There are no submission charges.
- Waivers or partial discounts may be considered in exceptional cases.
5. Archiving and Preservation
- Digital Archiving Systems — Content may be archived through recognized preservation services.
- Institutional Repository Archiving — A copy of each published issue will be deposited in official repositories.
These measures ensure that published research remains permanently accessible, even in the unlikely event of journal discontinuation.
